LumiBar4080 Samsung LED Modules Zhaga 933-1400 lm/ft

Professional high brightness LED Strips, Plug & Play Zhaga, 100.000h lifetime, luminous flux up to 1400 lm/ft

Nichia 757: LinearZ LED strips with luminous flux up to 4100 lm / m
Nichia 757 LED Line Strips LinearZ with light output up to 4100 lm / m for luminaire production

The LumiBar LED module is very bright, easy to install, equipped with Nichia 757G or Samsung LEDs and built in Zhaga standard, with Plug & Play power supply connections. The strip is available with 52 cm (20.47 in) and 28 cm (11.02 in) length.

The Nichia 757G LEDs are the world's most powerful Mid-Power LEDs, with exceptional light output, lifetime and light efficacy. That's why Nichia LEDs are the best-selling LEDs, with a global market share of more than 25%.

One foot of LumiBar 52 LED strip provides a flux of 1400 lm at a consumption of only 8 watts and using only 30 Nichia 757G LEDs. This performance, combined with a lifetime of more than 100,000 hours, makes LumiBar the best choice for building compact and bright luminaires.

For luminaires with a length of less than 52 cm, the LumiBar 26 LED can be used, with a light output of up to 1266 lm / ft.

The Zhaga shape and connection standard means that a luminaire can be maintained or updated with LumiBar or future LED strips. LumiBar 52 complies with Zhaga Book 7 L56W2 and LumiBar 26 Book 7 L28W2.

LumiBar modules use a Plug & Play power supply system that allows installation without soldering gun. They are available in a constant current version for high energy efficiency.

With warranty for the LumiBar of 5 years and a lifetime of 100,000 hours, the investment in these modules will be quickly paid back due to minimal maintenance costs.

Applications for LumiBar LED modules:

  • Lighting for shops, offices or commercial spaces
  • Production of compact and very bright luminaires
  • Maintenance or updating of luminaires using standard Zhaga LED modules (Book 7 L56W2 and L28W2)

The Nichia quality difference

The LumiBar LEDs manufacturer is Japan's Nichia, a market leader with over 25% global market share and a long history of innovation and progress in performance. Nichia researchers invented the blue and then white LED, receiving the Nobel Prize for this success.

The very long life of Nichia 757G LEDs (minimum 100,000 hours), high operating temperature resistance, high light output for the smallest energy consumption and good light quality are the result of Nichia's focus to offer only the top performance level .

We are a specialist of high performance LED light solutions. As part of the early success of LEDs we have extensive application knowledge from a wide range of sectors. Since 2010, we have developed and produced NICHIA LED strips in a state-of-the-art production facility in Germany. These strips have been used successfully in a wide range of application and developed specifically to meet customer specifications.

The difference between the quality and performance of a LinearZ Nichia LED strip and a low-cost LED bar is evident both at first power on and after many hours of use.

1) The same luminous flux after 10,000 hours.

After 10,000 hours of operation, a Nichia 757G LED shines like the first day, with at least 97% of the initial luminous flux, at high operating temperatures. In most applications, the effective life span is 100,000 hours, after that the light output is reduced by only 20% compared to the initial value.

Top material quality and superior design are the reason. Without this, a LED can lose up to 60% of its initial flux after the only 10,000 hours, which is true for all low cost LEDs.

Nichia 757G LED light data is backed by 10,000-hour tests, according to the LM-80 standard, and lifetime (light at 80%) is calculated according to TM-21 methodology, both internationally recognized.

2) Uniformity of color temperature

On the LumiBar strip, all Nichia LEDs have the same color temperature as all the LED modules in a delivery, a fact that will be maintained for a future order. This is possible due to the 3 Macadam Elipse sorting standard.

In addition, after many hours of operation, the Nichia 757 LEDs have the same hue as the acquisition.

In contrast, on a low cost strip, LEDs may have more shades or show significant difference in shade between two reels. The requirement that on future orders the shade be one particular is impossible to accomplish. The reason is the lack of a post-production sorting standard (a price-increasing standard). Moreover, after just a few thousand hours, each cheap LED on the module changes its hue.

A Nichia LED uses the 3 Step Macadam Elipse sorting standard and keeps the same color temperature in time

3) Powerful light, low consumption: The Nichia 757 LED is 5 times more energy efficient

Depending on the technology used, LEDs may have a different luminous flux even if they have the same power consumption. The difference in light efficacy (lumens per watt) from one LED to another may be 500% and has a very high influence on the production price. The Nichia 757 LEDs have the highest light efficacy of more than 200 lumens per watt compared to an inexpensive LED that has about 50 lumens per watt.

In other words, a meter LumiBar 24W LED tape is as bright as six meters of the 14.4W / m strip with 5050 cheap LEDs (total consumption of 86W per meter). After 10,000 hours the LumiBar LED tape will become as bright as twelve meters from the cheap LED strip due to the degradation of the latter's luminous flux.

Nichia LEDs are much brighter for the same power consumption

4) Nichia 757 LED has very good light quality

The purpose of a light source is to best reproduce natural light with direct influence in the way the human eye perceives colors. If the light source is of the same quality as sunlight then it will have a color rendering index, CRI of 100. Under CRI 80, the colors are no longer seen correctly, a phenomenon that is pronounced from CRI 70 down. For example, a pure red material lit in the daylight may look brown-red at the light of a CRI 65 LED.

The LumiBar strip uses Nichia 757 LEDs with CRI80 + for the correct color perception. The cheap LEDs on the market have a CRI of 70 or less that greatly distorts color shades, especially warm colors (red, orange, brown, etc.).

The LumiBar LED strip has CRI90+ for a correct color perception

The LinearZ LED strip has a good light quality, CRI80 + for a correct color perception

A cheap LED strip has poor light quality, CRI <70

A cheap LED strip has a poor quality of light that distorts color perception
